The trip was great but we had to go out on the boat each day as the wind at the beach was really poor. Having that boat was a major advantage! My biking is loads better now and the team of instructors were a ball. I never thought biking in the uk could be so much fun.

If I have any advice then it would be to insist that people get the "sports luggage" allowance when they fly out of the Spanish airports with their kit. I only had 1 bag with my board and kite in it so I called Thomson to see if I needed to pay extra but because it was within size limits allowed at Gatwick they told me not to bother for either heading out or going back.

Flying out of Fuerteventura airport however... They have smaller size restrictions on the luggage and went mental when they found out there was a board inside! I had to pay 30 euros to get it on which is Ok but for awhile they were suggesting that I may not get it on at all! The Thomson staff were there and diffused it all but it would have been cheaper to book it ahead and less hassle.

All in all though it was a great trip. Looking forward to booking another one!
